Calm homes.
Practical support.
A real route to independence.
GLE Living® provides semi-independent supported accommodation for young people aged 16+. Our work is rooted in care and commitment, alongside the development of practical skills, ensuring the move into adulthood is structured and properly supported.
Many young people leaving care are required to take on adult responsibilities earlier than their peers. Our role is to ensure they do not face that transition alone.
About GLE Living
A Different approach to supported living
Leaving care should not mean being left to figure things out alone.
Our approach includes built-in advocacy. Care leavers are often required to navigate housing, benefits, education, health services and legal systems without consistent support. We stand alongside them in that process, to ensure they understand their rights and responsibilities.
Alongside advocacy, we focus on practical preparation. Young people are supported to develop the skills and knowledge needed for independent living, from managing money and maintaining a tenancy, to engaging with education or employment.
Over time, we help young people build the confidence to advocate for themselves.
Recent UK data highlights the scale of the challenge:
11.8% of care leavers aged 18–20 experienced statutory homelessness in 2023/24
Around 39% of care leavers aged 19–21 were not in education, employment or training
19% report feeling lonely often or always
These figures are not abstract. They illustrate the gap between accommodation and meaningful support.
Our model is designed to close that gap.

Areas we cover
We provide accommodation in Lambeth and Croydon and are actively expanding across London to include Sutton, Bromley and neighbouring boroughs.
Our growth is deliberate. We develop a carefully selected network of safe, well-maintained homes that respond to local authority demand and the needs of young people. Each property is chosen to support stability, accessibility and sustainable move-on outcomes.
Our partners
-
We work in partnership with local authorities to deliver supported accommodation that is safe, compliant, and centred around positive outcomes for young people. Our approach balances strong governance and accountability with flexibility, ensuring services meet statutory requirements while remaining genuinely person-focused.
-
We partner with landlords who want their property to have a positive impact within their community.
By working with GLE Living, homes are used to provide stable accommodation for young people building their independence. At the same time, landlords benefit from secure long-term income and professional management.
Properties are actively managed, regularly maintained and treated with care, creating a responsible partnership that delivers both social value and financial stability.
-
We recruit dedicated support workers, counsellors (and work with partner organisations) who share our values and commitment to positive change.
Together, we create joined-up support strategies that prioritise consistency, collaboration, and meaningful outcomes for young people.
-
We understand the importance of reassurance and trust. Families and guardians can feel confident that young people are living in a safe, supportive environment where wellbeing, dignity, and development matter.
“We do this because the start matters. When young people have a safe home, consistent support, and the right tools, they are better equipped to face life’s challenges. By creating stable foundations now, we help shape stronger futures for the next generation and the communities they will be part of.”
